The third room, named the Eastern Grey Kangaroo Room (both our 3 and 4 year old programs), is inspired by the iconic marsupial that can be seen hopping around the reserve. Eastern grey kangaroos are an important symbol of strength and agility in Wurundjeri culture, and we hope that the children in this room will be inspired by these qualities as they transition from our service into school-aged children, we believe that these experiences will stay with them and help shape their perspective on the world around them. We have up to 22 children per day in our Eastern Grey Kangaroo Room.

Through play, exploration, and learning in these named rooms, we aim to encourage our young learners to develop a lifelong love and respect for the environment and the indigenous heritage of our community.
